How it works?

The BioZone PR office air purifier operates using UV-C radiation to destroy bacteria and viruses. The BioZone PR works by using the powerful wavelengths of UV-C radiation to enter microorganism cell walls and destroy the DNA so there is no further growth or reproduction.

When the UV light reacts with air it generates photoplasma and ozone to destroy germs and bacteria. Photoplasma effectively eliminates bacteria, viruses, fungi and mould when it enters the air and settles on surfaces. Photoplasma breaks down pollutants by latching onto chemical and organic contaminants and subsequently destroying microorganisms DNA and cell membranes. When the UV-C light in the BioZone PR office air purifier reacts with oxygen, ozone is generated. This ozone then works to break down compounds and destroy germs, viruses and bacteria. While ozone causes irritation with prolonged exposure, the easily controllable nature of the BioZone PR means the unit can be switched on and off when needed to avoid discomfort.
