The BioZone Mini PowerZone is a powerful, portable UV air purifier. This UV air purifier is suitable for environments such as funeral homes, hospitals, hotels or gyms to sterilise empty rooms. This BioZone is the most powerful model offered by FW3 Services and is designed for larger rooms than the other styles within the range, making it ideal for rooms that are 60-120m3. The Mini PowerZone purifies air and surfaces, eliminates odours, smoke, chemicals, viruses, bacteria and mould.

Portable

This is a portable device, which means it can be used in multiple rooms, making it a great choice for locations that are frequented by lots of visitors and pose a risk of transferring germs and bacteria. This UV air purifier additionally has a programmable timer and operation log so you can keep track of how you have been using the BioZone to eradicate germs and airborne viruses and bacteria.

Combats Bacteria & Viruses

The BioZone has proven to be effective in destroying viruses such as the Coronavirus COVID-19, Influenza, H1N1, H5N1, E. coli, Salmonella and Streptococcus. It over 99% effective in destroying viruses on surfaces and over 98% effective when eliminating airborne bacteria.

How it Works

The BioZone works through a combination of UV-C radiation and photoplasma and ozone which are both generated by UV-C radiation reacting with the air. UV-C light is a powerful wavelength of light that is strong enough to destroy DNA by entering microorganism cell walls and making it impossible for any further growth or reproduction. Because this is such a potent tool to destroy bacteria and viruses there are safe-guards in place within the BioZone to protect people or animals from exposure. However, it is recommended that the use of the BioZone is kept to a minimum with people within the room.

Photoplasma is additionally generated when UV-C light reacts with air. This photoplasma covers surfaces and enters the air, destroying bacteria, viruses, fungi and mould. Photoplasma can breakdown many pollutants by attaching to chemical and organic contaminants and proceeding to destroy the cell membrane and DNA of microorganisms. Ozone additionally is produced by the BioZone through the reaction of oxygen and UV light wavelengths. Ozone is another oxidant that that destroys germs, bacteria and viruses by breaking down compounds. However, ozone can cause irritation in high concentrations, so prolonged exposure of a functioning BioZone is not recommended.
